DEEP BLUE SEA (new documentary showing)

DEEP BLUE SEA is a 45 minute documentary film that chronicles the stories of six children with special needs/disabilities.  Filmed over the course of a four week intensive, DEEP BLUE SEA explores the theme of ecological intervention—a process of healing and rehabilitation that involves the active collaboration between teachers, parents and the children themselves.  The film shows how even the more difficult physical challenges can be slowly overcome through patience, care and sensitive collective nurturing.

DEEP BLUE SEA will be premiered at the Spiral Movement Center in Toronto on November 10, 2018 at 8pm EST, and the live-stream option will be broadcast via Youtube (  Roundtable discussion will be held via Zoom chat ( after the premiere.
